Counselling Rounds & Upgrade Policy

Important: In medical admissions, a candidate who opts for upgradation must mandatorily join and report to the allotted seat. Reporting is compulsory, and only after successful joining shall the candidate be considered eligible for upgradation in subsequent rounds.

Free exit in Government counselling is allowed in Round 1: Yes
Exit rules for subsequent rounds: Not allowed
Important: If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 2 and fails to join, the allotted seat shall be forfeited. Further, if a seat is allotted in Round 3 and the candidate does not join, the seat shall be forfeited, and the candidate shall be debarred from participating in any subsequent rounds of Counselling.
