Preamble & Definitions
This Master Policy Framework constitutes the comprehensive and legally binding set of terms, conditions, guidelines, and operational policies governing the access to and use of the digital platform operated under the name and trademark MBBS Lighthouse, hosted exclusively at mbbslighthouse.in / mbbslighthouse.com
1.1 Preamble
This Policy Document has been drafted and adopted in the interest of establishing clarity, transparency, and accountability between the Platform, its Mentors, and its registered Users (Students). All Users are required to read, understand, and accept this Policy Document in its entirety before availing any service offered by the Platform. By completing the registration process, submitting any document, activating any package, or engaging in any session or activity on the Platform, the User unconditionally agrees to be bound by the entirety of this Framework.
MBBS Lighthouse is a digital advisory and counselling facilitation platform for MBBS Admission counselling. It is expressly clarified that the Platform does not provide legal advice, does not guarantee medical college admission, and does not act as a liaison or representative of any government authority, counselling body, medical college, or regulatory institution.
1.2 Definitions
For this Policy Document, the following terms shall carry the meanings assigned to them herein:
- "Platform" means the digital service portal, website, and all associated digital tools and interfaces operated by MBBS Lighthouse exclusively at mbbslighthouse.in / mbbslighthouse.com or Google/Apple App stores
- "User" or "Student" means any individual who has completed the registration process and created a login account on the Platform.
- "Mentor" means a qualified, Platform-assigned counselling professional who facilitates advisory sessions and guidance to the registered User.
- "Package" means any pre-defined service bundle purchased by the User that includes a specified number of sessions, reports, and activities as described at the time of purchase.
- "Session" or "Meeting" means a scheduled digital interaction between the User and an assigned Mentor or senior resource, conducted over an approved digital communication medium.
- "Credits" or "Tokens" means the digital currency unit used within the Platform for availing services; purchased in exchange for monetary payment and valid for usage limited by platform and time.
- "Activation" means the formal commencement of a Package upon submission of personal details and documents by the User.
- "Counselling Cycle" means the official NEET counselling period as declared by the relevant government authority for a given academic year.
- "Platform Content" means all information, reports, data, analyses, cut-off trends, rank predictors, college data, and other digital materials made available through the Platform.
- "Dispute" means any formal grievance, complaint, or claim raised by the User or Mentor in connection with the Platform's services.
- "False Information" means any inaccurate, fabricated, manipulated, or misleading data, document, rank, category, or personal detail submitted by the User.
