Professor D K Singh joined as the founder Executive Director of AIIMS, Bathinda on 27.06.2020. Professor Singh envisions to fulfil the mandate of this institute by developing it into a centre of excellence in medical care, a state of art facility for medical training and research. Prof. D. K. Singh has immense experience in hospital management and medical education. Before joining AIIMS Bathinda, he was working as the director of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS), Ranchi. His extra-ordinary work and dedication won him accolades for achieving many milestones for RIMS Ranchi. As the Officer on Special Duty for India’s largest trauma centre, he established the 324 bedded trauma centre at BHU. He was the head of the department of Trauma and Emergency at AIIMS Bhopal.
