These documents bind you legally to your medical journey.
Legal documents are formal undertakings signed by the student and parent/guardian, usually on stamp paper, as per the college format.
Discontinuation Bond
Commitment to not leave the course midway.
Penalty: ₹5–₹15 lakh or remaining course fees. Ensures seats are not wasted.
Service Bond
Mandatory service after graduation (government/rural/defence).
Common in government colleges, AIIMS, and AFMC. Breaking the bond may lead to penalties or delay in degree.
Anti-Ragging Affidavit
Mandatory declaration against ragging.
Separate affidavits by student and parent. Required for all institutions.
Medical Fitness Certificate
Issued by a registered medical practitioner.
Confirms fitness for medical education. Required across MCC, NMC, and universities.
