Overview
The Tezpur Medical College & Hospital located at Tumuki, Bihaguri, adjacent to the AH-15. Tezpur shall be a college for 100 admissions as per norms of the Medical Council of India. It shall have 22 departments including Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-chemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Micro-Biology, Community Medicine and Forensic Medicine, the clinical departments shall be Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, T.B. & Chest, Radiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Anesthesiology. In due course of time the College will develop as a Post Graduate Medical College in different specialties Various Nursing courses and Para Medical Courses will also start in time with the Medical College as the training center. The college shall have a well-organized modern Computerized Library for 100 students and staffed with journal section, reference section, e-library and internet facilities.
