Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SNIMS) is the first Medical College to come up under Gurudeva Charitable Trust (GCT). SNIMS aims to provide affordable Medical Education and access to quality health care for all. SNIMS is located in Chalakka, a quiet rural township. Our campus is spread over 46 acres amidst lush greenery. Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery, is 14 kms away. Students have been consistently excelling in academics ever since the commencement of the UG,PG and Paramedical programmes. Results reflect the exemplary standard of the academic coaching SNIMS provides, thanks to eminent and distinguished faculty members. Our students regularly procure top ranks in university examinations. In the Final MBBS Examination held in 2014, 2017 and 2018, our students bagged the first rank. First MBBS Examination held in 2020 our student was the second topper. Likewise, Second topper in the II MBBS Examination held in 2015 was from our institution. In 2014, our student secured third position in the first MBBS Examination. In the year 2016, three of our students’ brought laurels by obtaining first, second and third ranks in Anatomy in Kerala state! The Academic Block accommodates the Preclinical and Para-clinical departments, students labs, museums and lecture halls. Every lecture hall has audio visual amenities. Examination halls, central library, digital library with 24 hours internet connection are other facilities in this block. In addition, the academic block has a large conference hall and an auditorium. The 560 bed hospital offers a range of clinical specialties, super specialties and emergency services. SNIMS campus provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. All rooms have attached bathrooms. Faculty members are provided accommodation in the campus. A well designed playground and well equipped gymnasium adds value to the living conditions and helps students keep physically fit.
