Overview
MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences is established at Ghanpur, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy Dist of Telangana by Share Medical Care (NGO), during 2001-2002 over an area of 40 acres in the MediCiti Campus of 200 acres. A 720 bedded multi-specialty MediCiti Hospital functioning at Ghanpur since 1992 is attached to MIMS. MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) was started during the year 2002-2003 with annual intake of 100 students. The college has started functioning from 17th October 2002 following admission of 1st batch of students of 100. Medical Council of India has accorded permission for the 1st batch on 26th August 2002 vide letter No. U.12012/111/2000-ME (P-II) dated 6th August 2002, Govt of India, Min of Health & FW.
